Thanks to all those who came down to help out with preparations today. A workforce of approximately 14 managed to get quite a lot done including strimming, filling in potholes and painting. The pitch seems to be growing well after the seed was put down just over 2 weeks ago and judging by the photograph below (courtesy of Russell Kirkwood), it looks as if we could have a good playing surface for this coming season.

Just a reminder that we have a BBQ and work party day at Krooner Park, next Saturday. If any one is free and would like to help the club prepare the ground for the new season, pop down and help out for a couple of hours and enjoy a burger or two. The bar will be open.
