ALAN COLLINS
R.I.P.
|
News reached us over the weekend that one of loyal supporters
has lost his fight for life. Alan Collins was diagnosed with
a brain tumour towards the end of last season and on Tuesday
night, June 16th he passed away in his sleep. Alan had been
a regular supporter down at Krooner Park for over 20 years
and will be sorely missed. The funeral has been
provisionally arranged for July 1st at Easthampstead Park in
Bracknell. His family has connections to the football club
dating back to the origins of the club when his great
grandfather was the St Michael's, Camberley goalkeeper in
the first competitive season 1897/98 and was in the side
which won the Surrey Junior Cup in the same season. |
